India’s tour of Sri Lanka

The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 have ended but Indian cricket team schedule is looking busy this year. After an embarrassing defeat by Pakistan in the final, Team India under the leadership of Virat Kohli head to West Indies to play 5-match ODI series and a T20 match. After returning from the Caribbean, there is no rest for them as Team India is set to tour Sri Lanka.
India’s tour of Sri Lanka will begin with a warm-up match in Colombo on July 21 and July 22. India has to play 3 Tests, 5 ODIs and one T20I against Sri Lanka on this tour. The Test series begins on July 26 and will run till August 16. The 2nd Test is scheduled to be played in Kandy from July 26 to 30 followed by Galle Test from August 4 to 8 and the last Test is in Colombo from August 12 to 16.
The 5-match ODI series will start in Colombo at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium with 1st ODI followed by 2nd ODI in Dambulla at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium. The 3rd & 4th match is at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and the 5th ODI at the Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium on September 3. The only T20 International will be played at Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium on September 6.
