Rohit’s double ton powers India to 392

Following a humiliating defeat in Dharamsala, India returned to their aggressive best in Mohali as they piled up a mammoth total of 392 in their innings of the second ODI at Mohali on Wednesday.
Rohit, who is leading India’s ODI team in absence of newlywed Virat Kohli, scored a stupendous knock of 208 runs to lead the side by example.
The 30-year-old opening batsman slammed his 16th ODI hundred and enthralled the Mohali spectators with 13 boundaries and 12 sixes in his entertaining 151-ball knock.
The skipper gave India a solid start with Shikhar Dhawan, who contributed with a 68-run knock. The opener’s 67-ball knock was decorated by nine boundaries.
The opening pair of established a 115-run partnership stand.
