England to tour Sri Lanka for first time in six years

England will tour Sri Lanka for the first time in over six years to play three Tests, five One-Day Internationals and a one-off Twenty20 International, Sri Lanka Cricket said on Thursday (March 15).
The tour will begin on October 10 with a day-night ODI in Dambulla. There will be three day-night ODI matches in all while the T20I will also be a day-night game.
The first Test will be at the picturesque Galle International Stadium from November 6 while the other two Tests are slated for the Pallekele International Stadium and Sinhalese Sports Club ground in Colombo, which will host the final Test from November 23 to 27.
England’s previous Test tour of Sri Lanka was in 2012 for a two-match Test series they drew 1-1.
Sri Lanka toured England in 2016 for a full tour of three Tests, five ODIs and a solitary T20I.

November 6-10: First Test (Galle)
November 14-18: Second Test (Pallekele)
November 23-27: Third Test (SSC, Colombo)
