Bracewell lifts New Zealand to 179

Doug Bracewell led the way as New Zealand ran up a score of 179 for 7 in the one-off Twenty20 match against Sri Lanka in Auckland this evening.
Bracewell came in in the 11th over after New Zealand had slumped to 55 for 5 at Eden Park, and worked his way into his innings before unleashing in the 17th over, crashing three sixes and a four to lift the home side.
He was out for 44 in the 18th over.
Among the other Black Caps batsmen, only T20 debutant Scott Kuggeleijn (35 not out) and veteran Ross Taylor (33) made scores of note.
Kasun Rajith, who picked up 3 wickets, was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors while skipper Lasith Malinga took 2 wickets.
Sri Lanka had earlier decided to bowl after winning the toss. The visitors need 180 runs to win the T20I.
