Royalists take home 44th Mustangs Trophy

Royal College beat St. Thomas’ College and gained the championship of the 44th Mustangs Trophy played at the SSC Grounds, today (March 16).
Although Thomians aimed for a double blow and sixth straight Mustangs win, Royal College, Colombo managed to snatch the trophy by one wicket.
Batting first, St. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavina, scored 255 at 6 wickets and Royal College chased down the target scoring 259, losing 9 wickets in 48 overs.
