Tilakratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara made an epic double century stand to grave Bangladesh under the mountain of runs at the crucial world cup tie against Bangladesh.

Sri Lanka scored 332 runs at the end of their stipulated 50 overs with the loss of just one wicket.

Both the experianced men scored unbeaten tons as Dilshan made a faboulous 161 and Sangakkara made 104.

it all started when Anamul Haque of Bangladesh dropped one of the easiest of catches in sleep to let Bangladesh down in their crucial world cup encounter against Sri Lanka.

He reminded the cricket lovers one of the most famous incidents of World cup when Gibbs dropped Steve Waugh in a match back in 1999.

Like Gibbs, Anamul seemed to be more keen on celebrating the catch even before grasped it and made a huge damage and reminded the quote of Steve to Gibbs, ‘Son you dropped the match’, though it was not totally confirmed ever but it has become a part of cricket legend since.

Sri Lankan opener Thirimanne was dropped even before registaring any score when Anamul grassed a regulation catch at first slip in the bowling of his skipper Mortaza.

Lankan openers took the chance by both hands and excelled a brilliant partnership of 122.

Thirimanne once again got away when wicketkeeper Mushfiq missed an easy stumping in the bowling of Sabbir Rahman on 22nd over.

Finally a brilliant effort in the field was required to remove Thirimanne when Taskin picked up a good diving catch in the thirdman as the batsman upper cut a Rubel short ball.

He was dismissed for 52.
