Protest against Kotelawala Defence University Bill...

A protest organized by the Ceylon Teachers Service Union (CTSU) was held in front of the Ministry of Education (Isurupaya) in Battaramulla on Monday (July 05) demanding that the government withdraw the General Sir John Kotelawala National Defense University Bill, which the protestors claim “destroys the right to education and paves the way for militarization”.
