Sri Lanka World Cup squad returns...

The Sri Lanka cricket squad returned to the island this morning (10 Nov.) ending its 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup campaign on a disappointing note. The Lions reached the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake from Bangalore, India, aboard SriLankan Airlines flight UL-174, at around 5:50 a.m. A group of officials of the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) had also arrived at the airport premises to welcome the national squad. It was reported that security had been beefed up in the area.
