Inauguration of Fifth Session of Ninth Parliament…

The ceremonial inauguration of the Fifth Session of Ninth Parliament took place on Wednesday (07 Feb.), presided over by President Ranil Wickremesinghe. Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena the Parliament complex before the Head of State graced the event. President Wickremesinghe delivered the government’s policy statement after declaring open the new parliamentary session.
