India’s Independence Day celebrations in Colombo…

The 78th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great fervour in Sri Lanka on 15 August 2024. The event was held at ‘India House’, the official residence of the High Commissioner of India in Colombo. Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha read excerpts of the address by President of India to the nation on the eve of the 78th Independence Day.
