New Deputy High Commissioner to India assumes duties…

Dr. Ganesanathan Geathiswaran has officially assumed duties as the Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to India on the 25th of August in Chennai.

Upon assuming his duties, he expressed that his mission will be to work tirelessly to strengthen the vital partnership between the two nations, focusing on key areas of mutual interest, including enhancing economic collaboration, exploring new avenues for trade and investment, deepening cultural and people-to-people ties, which are the bedrock of the two nations’ friendship, and fostering greater cooperation in areas like technology, education, and development.
