Derailment disrupts train services on up-country line

Railway operations have been disrupted on the up-country line due to the derailment of a train, Sri Lanka Railways (SLR) announced.

Accordingly, the Badulla-bound train from Colombo Fort has derailed  between Bandarawela and Heel-Oya railway stations.

Meanwhile, it is also reported that the Badulla-Colombo night mail train has also been cancelled today due to this.
