Nearly 20 more election-related complaints within last 24 hours - EC

The complaints received by the Election Commission of Sri Lanka related to the upcoming presidential election have further increased.

The Election Commission says that 17 more complaints have been received within the past 24 hours pertaining to the 2024 Presidential Election.

Accordingly, a total of 337 election complaints have been reported between July 31 and yesterday (11), the Election Commission said.

The Presidential Election is scheduled to be held on September 21 and Nominations will be accepted on August 15, 2024.
