Postal voting for presidential election allowed today and tomorrow

September 11, 2024   10:21 am

The Election Commission says that postal voting for the 2024 Presidential Election can be carried out today (11) and tomorrow (12).

Accordingly, the government employees who were unable to cast their postal votes on September 4, 5, and 6 can do so on these two days.

The Election Commission has also stated that if postal votes are not used on these two days, there will be no further opportunities to use the postal vote on any other day or on September 21, when the Presidential Election will be held.

Therefore, the voters who use postal voting today can go to the district election office or the Divisional Secretariat where their workplace is located and cast their votes.
