Police seek public assistance to trace female suspect

Sri Lanka Police is seeking public assistance to apprehend a female suspect who is wanted in connection with an investigation pertaining to financial fraud.

Issuing a statement, the Police Media Division informs that the suspect in question is wanted over a case involving an unlawful property acquisition carried out using forged documents, for a property valued at Rs. 150 million.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is conducting investigations following a complaint lodged against the suspect. The investigation has revealed that the woman has signed a forged deed while impersonating another individual.

Police have released a photograph of the suspect in question to the media and the relevant photograph is attached below. 

Accordingly, any information regarding the relevant suspect is requested to be provided through the following contact numbers:
