Roshan Ranasinghe appointed Chairman of MJP

Former Minister Roshan Ranasinghe has joined the Mawbima Janatha Party (MJP) led by entrepreneur Dilith Jayaweera.

He has been appointed as the Chairman of the party. 

Meanwhile, former Minister Prof. Channa Jayasumana has been appointed Vice Chairman of MJP. 

Former MP Milan Jayatilleke has been appointed party’s Gampaha District Organiser.

A former member of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), Ranasinghe had previously served as Sports Minister and had also contested the recent presidential election.
