Lanka IOC increases Petrol 92 and Auto Diesel prices

Lanka IOC (LIOC) has increased the prices of Petrol Octane 92 and Auto Diesel, aligning its rates with those of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco).

 

However, LIOC confirmed that prices of all other fuel categories will remain unchanged.

 

The revised rates are as follows:

 

Auto Diesel – Rs. 392 

 

Super Diesel – No change

 

Petrol 92 Octane – Rs. 410 

 

Petrol 95 Octane – No change

 

Meanwhile, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) announced a revision of fuel prices, effective from midnight yesterday (2).

 

Accordingly, the price of Auto Diesel was increased by Rs. 10 to Rs. 392 per litre, and the price of Super Diesel was increased by Rs. 15 to Rs. 458 per litre.

 

Meanwhile, the price of Petrol 92 Octane was also increased by Rs. 12 to Rs. 410 per litre and Petrol 95 Octane up by Rs. 15 to Rs. 470 per litre, the CPC said.

 

The price of Kerosene was also hiked by Rs. 10 to Rs. 265 per litre.

 

Meanwhile, effective from today, Sinopec has also revised its fuel prices.

 

Accordingly, the price of Auto Diesel has been increased to Rs. 392, while Petrol 92 has been raised to Rs. 410.
