Fair & Lovely launches new 7 gm trial pack inviting consumers to try out the fairness miracle

Unilever Sri Lanka’s (USL) Fair & Lovely has introduced a convenient new 7 gram trial pack for consumers to experience unmatched radiant fairness in just 4 weeks that rivals the best professional beauty treatments, but without bleach or harmful chemicals that can damage skin.

The 7 gram pack was introduced so that new or potential customers of Fair and Lovely can experience the product, while its 25 gram and 50 gram packs are experienced by over 1.3 million consumers annually, according to annual household penetration figures from LMRB.

Speaking about the reason behind the launch Shantha Fernando, Brand Manager, Fair & Lovely said, “With all the negative publicity about fairness creams we realised that there was a need for consumers to try out our product before purchasing a larger quantity. We introduced this convenient and cost effective sachet so that consumers can use Fair and Lovely and see for themselves that it is 100% safe and free from bleach or any other harmful chemicals.”

The new 7 gram trial pack will come in the multi vitamin fairness cream variant and is available with all authorised wholesalers and retail outlets. The Fair and Lovely multi vitamin fairness cream with its revolutionary new Bio Vita Complex boasts a mix of four essential vitamins (B3, B6, C & E) which give beauty parlour fairness, but with total nourishment within 4 weeks. Vitamin B3 provides radiance without bleach, Vitamin C gives an Even-tone like derma-brasion, Vitamin A offers skin elasticity of chemical peels while Vitamin E provides deep hydration similar to fruit facials.

About Fair & Lovely: Fair & Lovely was developed in India in 1975. Nationally marketed since 1978, this fairness cream brand has been extensively tested with consumers in India and abroad. In terms of benefit and delivery, Fair & Lovely has proven to be superior to all key competitor brands, and consumers perceive the brand as being empowering and transformative. In Sri Lanka, Fair & Lovely was launched in 1992, and became the leading fairness cream in the market within a very short period of time that has led to the growth of the fairness segment in skin care.
