Police have launched an investigations after an object believed to be part of a light aircraft has fallen into the sports ground of the M.D.H. Jayawardena Junior School in Thalangama this morning.
The Police Media Unit said that the aircraft part, which is blue and around two-and-a-half feet in diameter, had fallen to the ground at around 7.20am today.
The object is believed to be part of a sea plane.
