Mr Bopage Nimalweera has been appointed as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media.
He will take over from Mr Vajira Narampanawa who was appointed as Secretary to the Ministry in September 2015.
It has been reported that Mr Narampanawa is to be appointed as Secretary to the Ministry of National Co-existence, Dialogue and Official Languages.
