Galle Face Road closed due to protest by port workers

Galle Face Road has been closed for traffic from the Lotus Road entry due to a protest being staged by a group of Hambantota Harbour workers, Ada Derana reporter said. 

The road closure has resulted in severe traffic congestion in the area while police request motorists to use alternate routes to avoid inconveniences.
