Oman Air resumes flights to Sri Lanka and two other countries

October 25, 2020   08:28 pm

Starting from today (October 25), Oman’s state airline, Oman Air, will resume its international flights to three destinations.

Oman Air will operate two flights per week to each of Kuwait, Bahrain and Colombo in Sri Lanka.

The carrier will also increase domestic flights to the cities of Salalah, Khasab and Duqm in Oman.

The airline said it is committed to implementing a safety programme, urging passengers to wear the protective face masks at the Omani airports and aboard its flights.

Oman resumed scheduled international flights on October 1, seven months after the sultanate suspended air travel as part of a raft of measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
