One track of Coastal Line to be out of service for three days

Sri Lanka Railways says one track of the Coastal Line will be out of operation from the 11th to 13th of November due to urgent repairs.

 

Hence, a special bus service will be in place from the Colombo Fort Railway Station to transport the passengers to the scheduled destination, the notice issued by the railway department read.

 

The following trains operating in the morning hours will accordingly be halted at Colombo Fort:

 

Train No. 1512 – Rambukkana to Panadura
Train No. 3800 – Chilaw to Panadura
Train No. 3801 – Chilaw to Moratuwa
Train No. 4856 – Ganewatte to Panadura
Train No. 3803 – Chilaw to Panadura
Train No. 1535 – Polgahawela to Ratmalana
Train No. 4857 – Maho to Moratuwa
Train No. 1537 – Rambukkana to Panadura
Train No. 1526 – Polgahawela to Moratuwa
Train No. 3808 – Puttalam to Mount Lavinia

 

Buses will meanwhile operate from the point of departure to Colombo Fort in place of the following trains:

 

Train No. 8365 – Panadura (4.10 pm) to Puttalam 
Train No. 8356 – Mount Lavinia (4.10 pm) to Polgahawela 
Train No. 8367 – Panadura (5.02 pm) to Chilaw 
Train No. 8362 – Moratuwa (4.45) to Polgahawela 
Train No. 8366 – Panadura (5.46) to Polgahawela 
Train No. 8378 – Panadura (5.40) to Rambukkana
