Dr. Prasantha Jayamanna appointed new SLPA chairman

Veteran entrepreneur Dr. Prasantha Jayamanna has been appointed as the new Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA).

The appointment was made by Ports and Shipping Minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena, the lawmaker’s media secretary stated.

Dr. Jayamanna has also served as the Vice-Chairman of SLPA.

He will take over the reins from former SLPA chairman Capt. Nihal Keppetipola.
