Heavy traffic on Southern Expressway due to 10-vehicle pileup

Severe traffic congestion has been reported on the Southern Expressway towards Colombo from Matara due to an accident involving multiple vehicles between Gelanigama and Dodangoda interchanges. 

The Road Development Authority (RDA) said that traffic movement is restricted as only one lane in open for vehicles heading towards Colombo due to a pileup involving over 10 vehicles.
