Police probing Dayasiri’s alleged assault on a photographer

The police have launched an investigation into an alleged assault by MP Dayasiri Jayasekara on a photographer of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) media unit.
The investigation was initiated based on a complaint filed with the Cinnamon Gardens Police.
The complainant had accused the parliamentarian of assaulting him during an event held at the BMICH in Colombo.
