Another Gold for Sri Lanka as Pradeep Somasiri shines at Asian Para Games

Para-athlete Pradeep Somasiri has won another Gold medal for Sri Lanka in the 4th Asian Para Games taking place in China.

 

He placed first in the Men’s 1500m (T46) event today (Oct. 24) with a timing of 4:05.14 minutes.

 

Meanwhile, Nuwan Indika also bagged a Gold medal for Sri Lanka in the Men’s 100m (T44) event, clocking a timing of 11.63 seconds.

 

The 2022 Asian Para Games kicked off in Hangzhou, China on October 22, and will be held until October 28.
