January 2, 2024   12:39 pm

The Sri Lankan government has decided to establish a High Commission in New Zealand’s Wellington in a bid to further bolster the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

At present, Sri Lanka has only a Consulate in Wellington.

Accordingly, the Cabinet of Ministers has green-lighted a resolution made by Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry in this regard.

The first meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers for the year 2024 was held on Monday (Jan.01).
