Investigation into ‘intrusive stop and search’ of 2 youths by police after public outcry

Public Security Minister Tiran Alles says he has ordered that an investigation be initiated into the ‘intrusive stop and search’ of two youths by a group of police officers.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the lawmaker vowed to take stern action against ‘any wrongdoers, if identified’ to ensure accountability and justice.

Social media users voiced their concerns regarding the police officers over a recent ‘intrusive stop and search’ of two youths after the father of one of the youths posted about the incident.
