Tense situation as crowds clamour for SL v AFG match tickets in Dambulla

A tense situation was reported at the Dambulla Divisional Secretariat this afternoon (19 Feb.), as crowds thronged the premises in attempts to purchase tickets for today’s T20 match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced on Sunday (18 Feb.), that all tickets for both the second and third T20 matches against Afghanistan have been sold out.

However, tickets priced at Rs. 500 and Rs. 200 were issued at the Dambulla Divisional Secretariat this morning, resulting in large crowds of fans gathering to purchase tickets.

The second match of the three-match series is scheduled to kick-off at 07:00 p.m today, at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium (RDICS).
