Protesters block railway track after fatal train accident in Chilaw

A person was reportedly killed after being knocked down by a train plying from Colombo Fort to Chilaw.
In response to the incident, area residents had blocked the railway track in protest, halting the train in Pulichchakulam, between Puttalam and Chilaw, on its way back to Colombo, Ada Derana reporter said.
