One injured in shooting at Ja-Ela

A person has been injured in a shooting that took place at Dandugama, Ja-ela, the police said.

The injured individual has been admitted to the Ragama Hospital for treatment, according to police.

Police said that two unidentified gunmen had opened fire at the 47-year-old in front of his house and fled the scene.

Meanwhile, the injured person, named Manjula Sahan Fernando, was found to be a drug addict and involved in drug dealing, as per police.
