Rumesh Tharanga sets new Sri Lanka and meet record at Asian Throwing Championships

Sri Lanka’s Rumesh Tharanga has renewed the meet record and Sri Lanka record in the Javelin Throw event after clinching the Gold Medal at the Asian Throwing Championships, a short while ago.


Tharanga won gold at the Asian Throwing Championships with the new Sri Lanka record of 85.45m.


The Asian Throwing Championships is being held in South Korea.
