Gang rape of school girl: Principal, 2 teachers arrested for concealing incident

The principal and three teachers, including two female teachers, at a school in Thanamalvila have been arrested by police for concealing the incident of a 16-year-old girl who was gang raped and abused for a year by students.
They have been arrested today (13) by Thanamalvila Police and are accused of concealing the incident despite being aware of said information and not reporting it to the police.
It was reported recently that some 17 schoolboys have been arrested on charges of having allegedly sexually abused and gang-raped a schoolgirl in Thanamalvila over the course of the last year.
