CWC to back President Ranil in presidential poll

The National Committee of the Ceylon Workers’ Congress (CWC) has decided to support incumbent President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the upcoming presidential election.
This was communicated by the General Secretary of the CWC, Minister Jeevan Thondaman during a press conference held at the party’s headquarters in Kotagala today (18).
Minister Thondaman stated that accordingly, the CWC will sign an agreement with President Wickremesinghe in the near future.
