Sripura murder: Police seek public assistance to trace suspect

Sri Lanka Police said it is seeking public assistance in tracking down a suspect connected to the recent shooting and killing of an individual in Gemunupura, Sripura.

The shooting had been carried out using a T56 assault rifle by two gunmen who had arrived on a motorcycle on August 16, 2024. 

Police have also released photographs and details of the suspect in question.  

Accordingly, the public is requested to provide any information regarding the relevant suspect through the following contact numbers:
