Several spells of showers expected today

The Department of Meteorology says that several spells of showers will occur in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts today (05).
Meanwhile, showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Northern, Eastern and Uva provinces during the afternoon or night, the Met. Department added.
Thus, the general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
