October 7, 2024   08:46 am

Prime Minister’s Secretary Pradeep Saputantri announced that steps have been taken to suspend the board meetings of statutory bodies and other government institutions.

He stated that the heads of these institutions should refrain from making any administrative decisions during this period.

While some boards have already appointed new chairpersons, suitable heads for other boards will be appointed by the relevant ministers. In light of the current situation, the government has officially suspended board meetings of constitutional boards and other government institutions.

Saputantri further emphasized that it is the responsibility of the new ministers to appoint new presidents and heads of these institutions.
