Guidelines issued for resuming public activities and work settings

A set of instructions has been published for the resumption of selected public activities and work settings while preventing and controlling the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

These instruction notes were officially launched by the Director-General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe today, covering a total of 46 public activities and work settings.

Some sectors such as tourism, large shopping malls, event management would require reference to several instruction notes.

Each instruction note is issued by the Director-General of Health Services and the Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medical Services. Compliance with these instruction notes is expected from all establishments, owners, and responsible authorities for the prevention of transmission of COVID-19 virus.
