Police fire tear gas to disperse protestors in Kelaniya

Police have fired tear gas and used water cannons to disperse protestors who blocked the Kandy Road near the Kelaniya University at Dalugama, Kelaniya, a short while ago, the police said.

Meanwhile, six including four Buddhist monks have been arrested during the protest, according to the Police Media Division.
