Minor tremor felt off Beruwala

A minor tremor of 3.7 magnitude was felt in the seas area off the coasts of Beruwala a short while ago (30 March).
The tremor was felt at around 01:00 p.m. this afternoon, nearly 34 kilometres off Beruwala.
The Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB) have, however, confirmed that there is no tsunami threat.
