Import restrictions on 300 items to be lifted this week

The existing import restrictions on 300 items are due to be lifted by the end of this week, State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said.

The State Minister revealed this while speaking in Parliament today (07 June).

Speaking in this regard, Siyambalapitiya further stated that the list of items restricted from being imported has been reduced to 1,216 thus far.
