Japanese Finance Minister arrives in Sri Lanka

Japanese Finance Minister Suzuki Shunichi arrived in Sri Lanka on Friday (11) for a two-day official visit, the Government Information Department said.

Upon his arrival, Minister Suzuki was accorded a warm welcome at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake.

During the visit, Japanese Finance Minister is scheduled to have official discussions with President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry.

Minister Suzuki and the delegation will visit Parliament, Jayawardena Centre, Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital, Colombo Dockyard and Lanka Nippon Biztec Institute in Maharagama during their stay in Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
