A 63-year-old Filipino woman has been arrested for attempting to smuggle 6 kilograms and 180 grams of ‘kush’ into Sri Lanka through the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake.

The arrest was made in the early hours of today (14) by officers attached to the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) Airport Unit during a raid conducted at the airport's arrival terminal.
