The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijitha Herath will undertake an official visit to the United Arab Emirates from today (02) to September 3, with a focus on further strengthening bilateral cooperation between Sri Lanka and the UAE.
During the visit, Minister Herath is scheduled to meet several key UAE ministers to discuss matters of mutual interest and explore opportunities to deepen cooperation between the two countries.
Among those he is expected to meet are UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar and Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Minister Herath will also participate tomorrow in the second edition of the “Sri Lanka Beyond Your Dreams” event in Dubai.
He will grace the event alongside Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade.
