Four arrested with 62,000 narcotic pills in Kotahena

A total of four individuals have been arrested while in possession of 62,100 narcotic pills during a raid conducted by officers of the Kotahena Police Station yesterday (23).

 

Police said the suspects were arrested near an apartment complex on Armour Street in the Kotahena Police Division based on information received by police.

 

The suspects were allegedly transporting the pills in a van and a car, which were also taken into police custody.

 

The suspects, aged 30, 35 and 55, are residents of Puttalam.

 

Further investigations are being conducted by the Kotahena Police.
