Milka Gehani qualifies for 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships

Sri Lanka’s Milka Gehani, 20, has qualified for the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships planned to be held in Belgium.
The young Olympian secured her spot to compete in the world championships after winning 10th place at the 2023 Asian Gymnastics Championship taking place in Singapore.
The world championships for artistic gymnastics, governed by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique, will be held from September 30 to October 08 in the Belgian city of Antwerpen.
In 2020, Gehani, qualified for the Tokyo Olympic Games, becoming the first gymnast to represent the island nation at the world’s foremost sports competition.
