Indian actor Mohanlal Viswanathan arrives in Sri Lanka for film shoot

Mohanlal Viswanathan, popularly known among Indians as Mohanlal or Lalettan, and Malayalam actor Kunchacko Boban arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake today (15) for a three-day shoot of the film Patriot, which is being filmed in Sri Lanka.

The film is scheduled for a Pan-India release in eight Indian languages.

The high-profile movie is led by big names including Mohanlal, Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Zarin Shihab and Revathi.

The duo landed at the BIA at 11.20 a.m. today from Kochi (also known as Cochin), India, on SriLankan Airlines flight UL-166.

A group of officials from the Film Tourism Division was present at Katunayake Airport to welcome them, as part of a promotional initiative by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau.
