Sri Lankan consulate for Western Australia to host special Independence Day celebration

The Honorary consulate for Sri Lanka in Western Australia will organize a special event to celebrate the 2018 Sri Lankan Independence Day in Perth.

Perth, home for a vast Sri Lankan diaspora, proudly celebrates the national Independence Day every year and is attended by the Sri Lankan community and dignitaries from Australia and around the world.

This event will showcase a Sri Lankan cultural show performed by Artists flown to Perth from Sri Lanka and various other performances by Sri Lankans of all ethnic backgrounds living in Australia.

The event that attracts Sri Lankans from across Australia will be sponsored by TV Derana.
