VIDEO: Govt. attempting to frame JVP for Rathupaswala incident

The government is
attempting to heap the blame for the Rathupaswala incident on the JVP while
hiding the truth, JVP Propaganda Secretary MP Vijitha Herath stated.
Speaking at a press
conference held today (August 19), MP Herath said that the government had launched
an unsuccessful bid to frame the JVP for the situation in Rathupaswala.
He further demanded
that the government ensure justice for the people of Rathupaswala while adding
that he cannot endorse the Army conducting investigations on the matter.
